How long do you store personal data?
For consumer products or beta/eval products, Slier retains your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes and criteria outlined in our Privacy Policy. If you are a business or enterprise customer, we explain our data retention periods in your services agreement with us. Some additional details and examples follow:
If you use our services that allow you to save and continue conversations with Slier(e.g., Slier App for Slack, Slier via the console, Slier Pro or Slier.ai), we retain your prompts and outputs in the product to provide you with a consistent product experience over time in accordance with your controls.
If you are a user of our business or enterprise products (e.g., you have a services agreement for our API): unless we mutually agree otherwise, Slier automatically deletes prompts and outputs on the backend within 28 days of receipt or generation, except when we need to retain them for longer to enforce our AUP or comply with the law.
If you are a user of our consumer or beta/evaluation products (such as Slier.ai, Slier Pro, Slier App for Slack, and the evaluation versions of Slier via the console, API, or applications): we automatically delete prompts and outputs on the backend within 90 days of receipt or generation unless you and we agree otherwise. We will not use your conversations in our consumer or beta/evaluation services to train our models, unless: (1) your conversations are flagged for Trust & Safety review (in which case we may use or analyze them to improve our ability to detect and enforce our Acceptable Use Policy, including training models for use by our trust and safety team, consistent with Slier's safety mission, or (2) you’ve explicitly given us permission by reporting the data to us (for example via our feedback mechanisms) or by otherwise explicitly opting into training. We retain prompts and outputs for a maximum of 2 years if you submit a prompt to our consumer or beta/evaluation services that is flagged by our trust and safety classifiers.
For all products, we retain trust and safety classification scores for 7 years.
Where you have opted in or provided some affirmative consent (e.g., submitting feedback or bug reports), we retain data associated with that submission for 10 years.
We delete information you instruct us to delete in accordance with Section 5 of our Privacy Policy (“Rights and Choices”).
When assessing how long your personal data is retained, we consider criteria such as: (i) the nature of the personal data and the activities involved; (ii) when and for how long you interact with Slier; and (iii) our legitimate interests and our legal obligations. In all cases, we may retain Prompts and Outputs as required by law or as necessary to combat violations of our Acceptable Use Policy. We may anonymise or de-identify your personal data for research or statistical purposes, in which case we may retain this information for longer without further notice to you.
